Starcraft 2 Part 1 FPTV My POV

Blog update. So I have been busy and lazy about posting on the blog here. I am going to try and fix that. I have been doing stuff elsewhere which I will include here. For example I have a YouTube channel that I upload videos to. Most of these are game related videos. Recently I have been in two episodes of Frogpants TV. Which can be seen at http://frogpants.com/tv/. I was in episode 1 and the newest one. I will also be in the next two episodes.

Other things I have been up too. I continue to go to Rage Fitness. www.ragefit.org I also work on that website for the trainer Kenny. Currently working on adding a store to his website so people will be able to buy gear and supplements. I am down a total of 9 pounds.

So those are a few of the things I have been up to in my spare time. Until next time.

Rage Fitness Boot Camp

I just started this on Monday. After two days I am pretty sore. Can't wait to get to the point where it doesn't hurt as much. I know it will and should hurt some. My body is hopefully starting to get use to these workouts. It is hard but I am happy with the class so far. I think this will help me get me going in the right direction.

Somedays

I am having one of those days. I anything to workout I can't concentrate. My desire level is a little low as well. So I almost feel like this picture.

I decided to take a break and write this. I made this picture a while ago on my iPad. It made me laugh so I kept it.

Ever have lots of ideas but haven't got the energy or desire to act on those ideas? I have. A lot. Now my task is to find a way to act on these good ideas.

What do you do to get yourself to act on your ideas?

Flash Animation

Doing a flash animation tutorial and so far it is looking pretty good. Here is a picture of my character. More to come as it develops.

2011 Begins

Well pertaining to my last post I found a good sourdough bread that I am happy with. It ended up being at the local Grocery store. I had looked in there bread section with no luck. A different day I was near the deli and I noticed they had more bread there. And there it was California Sourdough Bread. It makes for a good sandwich and toast. So that quest is complete.

My next quest is to learn Adobe CS5 to the best of my ability. I have downloaded a bunch of tutorials. I have basic knowledge of most of the products. It well be nice to have a better understanding of them all. I have a few project ideas I will write and mention as time progresses.

The Search for a Good Sourdough

So lately I have been wanting to find a good sourdough bread. I have gotten a few places to try on a list. I have tried one place in Springville near the walmart. It was a Mild Sourdough. It was good but not exactly what I wanted. So my search continues. I heard Harmon's has a decent bakery so I am going to try them out. I also need to try the Provo bakery and see what they got.

Geeky Times

Recently I have been thinking back to some of my past geeky experiences. I wrote them down and thought it would be fun to share them. I am sure we all have had geeky moments. Here are some of mine. I hope to share more in the future. Enjoy.

Back in 1987, I was in junior high school computer club. We had Apple IIe computers. We would always be programming on them and write little menus for our disks. At the time we thought it was awesome. This was about the time I got into Ultima. When I couldn't play it at school I would go to the public library and checkout time on their computer to play it. Another cool thing about computer club was that we had a turtle robot and used Logo language to program it. We would make it do all kinds of crazy patterns. We also took it to a local state college and competed against other computer clubs. Junior high was a great time for my interest in computers. I even did my final paper in social studies on the history of computers. Good times, geek times!

One of my more geeky moments was when a buddy and I wanted a song from Star Trek 4 the Voyage Home. The song was the punk song that was played on the bus while Spock and Kirk were riding it. Spock ends up giving the punker the Vulcan pinch. Anyway we did some research on the internet and found the name of the song and the band. But we could not find it anywhere for download or purchase. Somehow we found the lead singer and called him. He was very friendly and nice to talk with. Turns out he sang the song and also was the punker on the bus in the movie. Anyway he told us the song was owned by Paramount and not available anywhere. Though we didn't get the song it was fun geeky experience.

Outside Time

I got to spend sometime outside today. Such a nice day. I was glad to get some sun. Good for the soul. If you get a chance go outside today.

Busy Busy

I have been really busy lately with work so I havent been able to write anything. So just a quick note. I am still around. Working and living. I have a few things I may write about later. So check back. :)
