Going Back to Cali

Going down to the California off to do some work and meetings. Should be a nice trip. The hotel looks nice. :) Flying on Jet Blue tomorrow. I have never flown on them but heard good things.

The other day we were moving some furniture and in the hallway I happened to run into the drinking faucet before I saw it and pinched my hand real good. As you can see in the pictures. I don't think either of us won.

President's Weekend

So this past weekend was busy and not so busy. It had it's ups and downs. Saturday I went and did a bunch of shopping and browsing. I did so much walking around my ankle didn't like it and I had to go home and rest it. I tried shopping some more to the same result. I got most of what I needed to do don so that was the good part. Sunday was a busy day at church meetings from 8:30am till 4pm. After that I took it easy and just lounged around the condo. Monday was nice, I slept in. Then later that day I helped some friends empty their basement in preparations for them to finish their basement. When I got home from that I was sore. It turned out to be a good workout. That evening I played on the computer and watched the movie The Rocker. It was pretty funny and I enjoyed it. So that was my weekend in a nut shell. I hope you all had a good weekend.

There and Back

Well the last two weeks I was in California. My boss and I went down to our office down there. We got to learn about all their IT needs and fix a few things. We were very busy, several days I was really wore out. We did have a break from work during the 3-day weekend. We went to Disneyland. My friend's family surprised him and came down for the weekend. We had a good time. I hadn't been at the land of Disney in a while. They have a new Toy Story interactive ride/game that I liked. It was in 3D and you got to shoot stuff. Having 3 days there was nice, gave us a chance to get everything we wanted to do in. It was a lot of walking but still fun. Though it wasn't easy it was nice to go down to California. The first night we stayed with my parents. Had a nice little visit with them. I am glad to be home now. two weeks in a hotel is not as nice as your own home.

Well

I wanted to post some pictures but was having a challenge with my phone camera so it will have to wait. Anyway I had a pretty good holiday. My parents came up from California and my sister was also in town. We got together the day after Christmas and visited and excahnged gifts. I had to leave to go to my friend's wedding. The wedding was also good. It was nice to see my friend happy.

The day of Christmas I took my parents and went to a friends house up north of me. It was an interesting drive because of all the snow. It had snowed all week long. For a little while I thought maybe we might get stuck up north, there was a lot of snow. But all was fine. We had a nice visit and dinner with friends.

New Year's day I went over to my friends house again and had dinner and hung out. Played some WoW and card games. We have been playing this one called Bohnanza(we call it the bean game.) It is a fun card game where you have to grow beans and harvest to get money. Good times.

My family had a safe drive home, but one of their dogs did not have a good day. He got hurt and ended up losing his eye. He is now doing better. They have been taking good care of him.

Today it is once again snowing and it has me a little wore out. I am tired and it is going to make it hard to get a lot of stuff done today. My eyes are bugging a little also. So for now this is all I write. i hope to post some pictures soon.

The Holidays are over.

WoW Nerd Fest 11-13-2008

On Wednesday night I walked over to the mall and got in line with 500 or more people to get a computer game. The new expansion for World of Warcraft came out. So I went about an hour or so before midnight and got in line. I was suprised to see so many people there. Once it hit midnight the line went really fast. I got my game went home installed it then watched the opening movie and then went to bed.

Though Friday I went over a friend's house and we played quite a bit.

If you know the provo towne center, I was waiting in linein front of Mario's used games. The line went from Gamestop, down to sears, around the corner. It was quite a site.

Mentos

While in Texas I went with my Grand mother to Hobby Lobby and they had this fun little toy. I had see something like this on Mythbusters and YouTube but didn't know they sold it. Would be a fun little stocking stuffer.

Home home on the range

I Made it to Texas. I took a little walk around the ranch. Today going to visit with family. The internet here is really slow so not sure how much I will be online.

Texas here I come.

Tomorrow I will be in Texas. I will be visiting with my grand parents. I will probably also get to see my uncle and his family as they don't live to far away from my grand ma. Not sure what i will be up to there but it will be a nice break. I will try and take pictures and blog while I am there.

Not quite done yet but I have been helping some friends build a chicken coup. It has be fun. Hopefully it warms up the next day or two so it can be finished.
