Nerdtacular 2008

Just got back from Nerdtacular 2008. We saw The Dark Knight. It was very good. Yes it was a little dark, but I think it was good that way. Heath Ledger did a great joker. I totally recommend seeing this if your into Batman, but not sure this a good for kids.

After the movie we went over to a park and had a BBQ. The food was good and it was nice to meet people. I had a chance to talk with some people of which I listen to their podcasts. I met Blake Snow from Infendo.com, I met Brian Ibbott from Coverville.com, also got to meet Randy "Deluxe" Jordan from theinstance.net and of course I said hi once again to Scott Johnson from Extralife Radio and the Instance.

I also got to meet Bronco, Reggie, Old Man Franks, and Samantha Jane from Extralife/Instance forums. It was good times.

My Debut Album

I made this with these instructions below. I got them from a forum I read every once in a while. Give it a try and see what you Debut Album would be. If you do try it send me a copy. If you can't Photoshop it I can help you do that also.

1 - Go to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Random
The first random Wikipedia article you get is the name of your band.

2 - Go to Random quotations: http://www.quotationspage.com/random.php3
The last four words of the very last quote of the page is the title of your first album.

If you want to do this again, you'll hit refresh to generate new quotes, because clicking the quotes link again will just give you the same quotes over and over again.

3 - Go to flickr's "explore the last seven days" http://www.flickr.com/explore/interesting/7days/
Third picture, no matter what it is, will be your album cover.

Put it all together, that's your debut album.

The last week.

Well what have I been up too? Well I saw a few more movies. I saw Get Smart and thought that was fun and entertaining. I wouldn't say it is the greatest movie ever but I had fun with it. I also saw Wall-E. I enjoyed it. There was not a lot of talking but everything else made up for it. The visuals were great and Wall-E was just awesome. I also saw the Newest of the Narnia films. I thought it was good, though I think the first one was a little more exciting for me. If you haven't seen it, It would be a great renter.

The fourth of July came and went. It was nice to have the Friday off. I went and saw Hancock. I liked this movie also, but I would have to say even though I liked it, it wouldn't be one that I would want to see again. Some movies I enjoy for the one time and I don't get an enjoyment out of a repeat watching. I would have to say that Ironman and Hulk are better than Hancock. Later that night I hung out with some good friends and played some Wii and lit fireworks.
